The climb begins at the Horcones Valley entrance (2,950m). Follow the well-marked trail through the Lower Horcones Valley to Confluencia camp. Continue ascending through the moraine fields to Plaza de Mulas base camp. The summit push follows the Normal Route via Camp 1 (Nido de Condores) and Camp 2 (Berlin/Colera). The final ascent crosses the Gran Acarreo scree slope before reaching the Canaleta couloir leading to the summit.
This route requires advanced mountaineering skills. Proper equipment and experience are essential.
