Henry's Fork Trailhead, Uinta Mountains, Utah, USA
Begin at Henry's Fork trailhead (9,400 ft). Follow the trail through forest along Henry's Fork drainage to Dollar Lake, then continue to Henry's Fork Basin beneath the impressive Uinta peaks. From the basin, climb the steep talus slope to Gunsight Pass (11,888 ft). Descend slightly to Anderson Pass, then follow the ridge southeast to Kings Peak summit. The route is non-technical but involves miles of boulder-hopping. Most parties backpack in and summit day 2.
