Piedra Grande Hut, Tlachichuca, Puebla, Mexico
Begin at the Piedra Grande mountain hut (4,260m). The Jamapa Glacier route heads northwest across rocky terrain before reaching the glacier. Crampon up and ascend the moderate glacier slope, weaving between crevasses. The route steepens near the Labyrinth rock band. Navigate through or around the rocks, then continue up the final snow slopes to the crater rim and summit.
